I’ve been vegan for many years but have not forgotten how much I love In-N-Out’s iconic dish. So I veganized and healthified it here for you! If you love fries you need to try these vegan Animal Style Fries immediately.

Whether you’re a chef or not, this recipe is truly for anyone craving Animal Style Fries. There is no cooking required other than caramelizing the onions, which you can totally skip. Simply air fry (or bake) the fries then melt them with the vegan cheese and sauce. SO EASY.
What makes these fries so iconic is the special sauce slathered on top. In-N-Out uses mayonnaise and I used a coconut yogurt base but I SWEAR you can’t tell the difference. I added white vinegar into the sauce which completely masks the fact that it’s yogurt AND adds a nice tang. Plus, the texture is absolutely perfect. Simply mix the yogurt and vinegar with the ketchup, dijon (or regular) mustard, and dill relish (any relish works, you can even chop up pickles.)
