5 Minute Strawberry Chia Jam

This 5 minute strawberry chia jam only requires 3 ingredients – strawberries, chia seeds, and maple syrup or agave. If you don’t like strawberries, feel free to substitute with blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, or even grapes. I use frozen strawberries out of convenience, but also because – fun fact – frozen produce is actually fresher than non-frozen produce!

Creamy Homemade Peanut Butter

This creamy peanut butter is so easy and keeps for a few weeks in the fridge. If you’re looking for ultra creamy peanut butter, you can add oat milk. This will initially make the mixture very liquidy, but once it’s refrigerated it will start to solidify.

Peanut Butter and Strawberry Chia Jam Toast

Toasted bread with homemade peanut butter and a strawberry chia jam.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices toasted bread

Homemade Peanut Butter

  • 1 ½ cup raw peanuts
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tbsp maple syrup

Strawberry Chia Jam

  • 10-12 frozen or fresh strawberries
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1-2 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions

  • Blend all peanut butter ingredients in a food processor. Pulse until creamy making sure to scrape down the sides frequently. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a few weeks.
  • If you'd like your peanut butter to be extra creamy, add 1/4 cup of oat milk. Keep in mind the peanut butter probably won't last as long depending on your milk's expiration date.
  • Add all strawberry chia jam ingredients in a saucepan. Use your spoon to gently mash the strawberries. Once the mixture starts to bubble, remove from heat and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
  • Toast your bread and top with the peanut butter and strawberry chia jam.
