Golden Mineral Broth

Golden Mineral Broth recipe that will replenish your body with minerals and keep your body warm during the colder months.

Ingredients

  • 3 quarts Filtered Water
  • 2 Onions, peeled and diced
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 bunch Celery
  • 5 large Carrots, chopped
  • 8 dried Shiitake Mushrooms
  • 2 Sweet Potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 thumb Turmeric
  • 1 thumb Ginger
  • 1 cup Fresh Herbs
  • 6 Whole Black Peppercorns
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1-2 sheets Kombu

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a large pot and bring to a boil. Let simmer for at least 2 hours. The longer you simmer, the more flavorful your broth is. I recommend simmering for about 6 hours. Your house will smell incredible!
  • Strain liquid into jars and store in the fridge for a week, or in the freezer for up to 6 months. I recommend only refrigerating what you know you will use that week, and freezing the rest.
