Golden Mineral Broth
Golden Mineral Broth recipe that will replenish your body with minerals and keep your body warm during the colder months.
- 3 quarts Filtered Water
- 2 Onions, peeled and diced
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 bunch Celery
- 5 large Carrots, chopped
- 8 dried Shiitake Mushrooms
- 2 Sweet Potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 thumb Turmeric
- 1 thumb Ginger
- 1 cup Fresh Herbs
- 6 Whole Black Peppercorns
- 1 tsp Sea Salt
- 1-2 sheets Kombu
Add all ingredients to a large pot and bring to a boil. Let simmer for at least 2 hours. The longer you simmer, the more flavorful your broth is. I recommend simmering for about 6 hours. Your house will smell incredible!
Strain liquid into jars and store in the fridge for a week, or in the freezer for up to 6 months. I recommend only refrigerating what you know you will use that week, and freezing the rest.
