Vegan Animal Style Fries

In-N-Out's iconic animal style fries made vegan and healthy.
Servings: 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Frozen Fries
  • 1 container (150 g) Vegan Yogurt I used 150g of Siggi's but any brand works
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp White Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard Regular mustard works too
  • 1/4 cup Dill Relish Any relish works, or alternatively you can just chop up pickles and use that
  • 1/2 cup White Onion
  • 2-3 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2-4 slices Vegan Cheese I used Violife

Instructions

  • Air fry (or bake) the fries until crispy. I set mine to 375 degrees and air fried for about 15 minutes but this varies, so check them at 10 minutes and go from there.
  • Assemble the sauce. To a big enough bowl add the vegan yogurt, ketchup, mustard, dill relish, and white vinegar.
  • Caramelize the onions by sauteeing them in avocado oil. Add a few tbsp balsamic vinegar to help them along and brown. This process should take about 15-20 minutes.
  • Plate the fries and top with anywhere from 2-4 slices of vegan cheese and as much of the sauce as you'd like. Microwave (or bake) until the cheese is melted, about 2 minutes, then finish with the caramelized onions. Enjoy!
